Watching stars

He tried to smile back but couldn't.
"Honestly at first i tried to stop him so he wouldn't have another girl to manipulate so he can get father in the tournament but then...after he started...i had the feeling to protect you...i have no clue why..."
Kaosu hesitated but slowly hugged her back.
"But anyways...thank you..."

"Your welcome."
Sukino said as she continued to hug him, liking the warmth of the embrace.

"You know...your my only other friend..."
He looked back up too the stars.

"Oh?"
She asked, buring her face into his shirt.
"Your just about my only friend besides Darcy..I think they think im annoying."
She mumbled.

He looked down to her burrowed face.
"Why do you think that?"

"I just think they do."
She mumbled to him again.

"Well i don't..."
He leaned in closer,there eyes locked and noses to cheeks,a few millimeters was the space between there lips and his cold breath rolled across her face.

Sukino blushed. Apparently the space between them was a little close.
"U-um..Im glad then."

Kaosu pulled away.
"Sorry slipped alittle..."

Sukino smiled again.
"Its okay."

Kaosu sat there as an awkward moment passed.

Sukino kissed his cheek quickly to mend the awkward moment.

He slowly reached his hand to the kissed spot.
"....."

Sukino was quiet for a bit then she sighed and looked up to he sky once more.

He looked up to the sky with her,in his gut was a feeling he never felt before.

Sukino allowed herself to fall backwards onto the sand to where she was now laying on her back.
"So.."

He looked to her and examined her body.
"I don't know..."
He laid back also staring to the stars and started to think.
God damn why did i have to screw it up...

Sukino moved her head onto his chest and layed her left arm across his stomach.
"Me either.."
She chuckled.

Kaosu looked down to her and started to play with the end of a stand of her hair.

Sukino closed her eyes, very comfortable at the moment.

He put one arm around her to keep her close and warm while the other hand moved from her hair to her ear lobe and he started to play around with it.

Sukino smiled while he played with her ear. She strangely liked it.

"What do you think about life..."
Kaosu spoke softly while looking down to her.

"I think it's boring."
She admitted.
"What about you?"
