Watching stars

Sukino was laying on the beach, looking up at the sky. She had stayed at the beach a little too long and it was alredy dark. She decided to not attempt to walk home untill she could find some sort of light.
She hummed to herself quietly as she watched each star twinkle individually, smiling.

Kaosu was silently behind her and he whispered into her ear.
"Hey..."

Sukino quickly looked behind her to see who it was.
"Hey Kaosu."
She said, smiling widely.

"Are you okay..."

Sukino's smile faded after being reminded of what happeded.
"Yeah.. I suppose im fine now."

"Good..."
Kaosu's eyes wondered passed her and to the sky.

"So.."
Sukino said, trying to make small talk.
"Why are you out here? I mean, it is dark and all."

"I dont care about darkness...it doesnt realy care to me...plus the stars are nice..."

"Yeah. They are."
Sukino looked back up at the sky.

"Those stars are what fill up the emptiness..."
He turned to look to Sukino.
"Do you believe in death..."
(Thanks ^^ I would of been on but i went to an all night party)

Sukino nodded then sat on the sandy ground.
"Of course I believe in death. Do you?"

Kaosu sat down besides her.
"Don't you ever just want to die...just to see what its like...to see if there's something after death..."

Sukino leaned on Kaosu, she known him for a while so she thought he wouldn't mind if she did.
"Sometimes. I don't like to think about it alot though."

Kaosu was slightly surprised from her leaning on him,he was never really a people person but he didn't have a problem with it.
"Life is full of so many mysteries..."
Kaosu continued to stare at the stars and then a slight smile spread across his face and he slightly chuckled.
"Did you know that suposivly you can get cancer from stars...what next..."
He turned his head to face her.

Sukino looked at him, disbelief on her face.
"No way.... Really?"

"Yep...stupid isn't it..."
Kaosu leaned back against Sukino and stared back at the stars,a quick flash of a bright line went threw the sky.
"A shooting star...well that's good luck..."

"Yeah..Make a wish!"
She giggled and shut her eyes tight then reopened them after a few seconds.
"I made mine."

Kaosu never closed his eyes but he did make a wish.
"Same..."
He realized that this is the longest hes ever smiled.

Sukino was about to ask him what he had wished for, but remembered it sometimes didn't come true if you told someone.
"Ive been out here for a while..I hope I don't get cancer."
She chuckled and turned her head away from the sky and twords Kaosu again.

There eyes met and his face went slightly back to its normal self.
"You know you have really pretty blue eyes..."

Sukino smiled, blushing slightly at the comment. She didnt get many complements like that.
"I like your yellow eyes. They are unusual, wich is good."

"Thanks..."
He sat there thinking as he looked into her eyes.
"Do you think I'm a monster..."

Sukino hugged him, pressing her head agenst his chest as she did so.
"Psh, of course I dont."

Kaosu became flushed from the sudden action.
".....R-Realy...i mean back at the beach...i lost control..."

"You did it in attempt to stop Shuei though. I don't think your a monster at all."
She tilted her head so she could look up at him, smiling.
