Personality:Like his subordinates, he too is a violent delinquent who uses his status to harass other students. However, he prefers to be alone and cares little for his subordinates. Hibari is very proud of his school, and is apparently the only person who likes their school's alma mater, even using it as his ring tone.

Fighting Style & training History: Hibari is the number one strongest student in his school, a fierce and well trained fighter who has an almost insatiable bloodlust for a worthy opponent. As his main weapon, he uses a pair of tonfa. Hibari's tonfa have also been shown to have hidden compartments containing other weapons.

Strengths & Weaknesses: Hibari is specially good at close-ranged fights . He has incredible strenght and usually his opponents back off when feeling his Killer Intent .

1 Axle of Rain 車軸の雨 (Shajiku no Ame) - Offensive . Hibari charges forward and attacks with a thrust.

-2 Surging Rain 遣らずの雨 (Sakamaku Ame) - Defensive. Hibari lifts waves of water around him then ducks, putting his sword protectively in front.

-3 Last Minute Rain 遣らずの雨 (Yarazu no Ame) - Offensive. Hibari drops the katana kicking it with his foot to send it flying in a stab.



-5 Early Summer Rain　五月雨 (Samidare) - Offensive. Hibari slashes diagonally but in midway he drops the sword, switching hands, before finishing the attack. Able to put off the timing in his opponent.



-7 Spraying Rain　繁吹き雨 (Shibuki Ame) - Defensive. Hibari holds the sword backwards and spins to create a whirlwind like shield.

-8 Pouring Rain　篠突く雨 (Shinotsuku Ame) - Offensive. Created by Hibari's father when saving a friend. Uses the blade of the sword to cut around the bearer.

-9 Mirroring Rain　うつし雨 (Utsushi Ame) - Offensive. Created by Hibari during his fight with Squalo(fictional character) and the move that defeated him. Hibari makes a tidal wave with his sword then defends and when his opponent attacks his reflection from behind he attacks from the front.

-10 Scontro di Rodine (Clash of the Swallow) - Offensive. Seems to be a tidal wave of water that surrounds him while he charges, led by the swallow from his box

-11 Beccata di Rodine (Swallow's Beak) - Offensive. Hibari thrusts his blade multiple times with one hand.

Kyoya Hibari is the leader of the Discipline Committee of Prefects, who all are delinquents loyal to Hibari. Like his subordinates, he too is a violent delinquent who uses his status to harass other students. However, he prefers to be alone and cares little for his subordinates. Hibari is very proud of his school, and is apparently the only person who likes their school's alma mater, even using it as his ring tone. In the Kokuyo Arc, he adopted one of the Kokuyo assassin Birds' bird . The bird (subsequently nicknamed "Hibird" due to its connection to Hibari) becomes attached to Hibari. Reborn piqued Hibari's curiosity early on in the series and Hibari considers him a worthy opponent, having a strong urge to fight him.

Later on Hibari got an invitation for the KOF tournament because of his superb skills with a sword .

Other Information : He is a home tutor . Teaching Zanjutsu and when he truly likes the student he gives the SHigure SOuen Style to the next generation.
