Playtime running slowly

Suzume sat in a tall tree watching as the people walked the night streets of California. There were no sighns of stars yet and the moon was full that late evening. Suzume snacked on a box of pocky as she waited for some fun to occur.

Darcy walked down the street, twilight was her favourite time of day, she pulled out a pocky stick from her satchel and put it in her mouth, where it stayed like a lollipop stick, she looked in a shop and wondered whether she should get a new dress, she was bored.

Suzume noticed Dracy the gril from the hotel the other day. She didnt get a chance to so very much to her the last time they saw eachother so she thought what the heck. Suzume jumped out from the tree she was sitting in and walked over to Darcy; who was looking at the different shop.
"hello..."

Darcy looked at her curiously, she thought the girl hated her. she continued to look for a dress, "Hey" she said, taking the pocky stick out of her mouth to speak. she entered the shop and looked at the dresses.

Suzume rumaged through a free dresses she saw on a hanger close by. "so why you looking for a dress anyway?

"In case there is a party, i usually leave it until last minute, then all the good ones have gone" she said still looking "Then i end up staying at home"

"let me get this straight because you dont have a dress in time for parties you stay at home when all the decent ones have been taken...?"

"Pretty much, i have low confidence, i feel like everyone is talking about me, so i need one anyway, my other one got burned" she said putting another pocky stick in her mouth.

Suzume also put another pocky stick in her mout. "How do you get that impression..?" she woundered looking for a dress she could fit in that had a bit more flare to it.

"Bullied at school, they didn't like who i was so found every possible way to make my life hell" she said, trying to look for an 'ethereal' dress

"sure no problem what colour did you have in mind?" She was sad to hear she had a poor childhood with the other children when she was younger, but quite a few people had a few bad memories from there past so it was under standable for her to have such feeling towards revenge.

Darcy shrugged "Purple most likely" she said the pocky stick sticking comically out of her mouth "I wasn't bullied for being a vampire, i was top of the class for everything and i have a not very fashionable dress sense , so thats what i was bullied for, and the fact that i am an orphan" she said sadly.
